How I now see digital photography...

At the beginning of the this class I was not so keen on how Photoshop can actually change your picture, but I soon came to realize that it wasn't the program it was the people who controlled their own destiny through pictures. The quickness and fluency that digital photography has given the world of art is incredible. The fact that everything can be changed or used in different ways than what it was shot for is great. It opens new doors into colored art can save weeks on end in time that would normally take longer in the dark room. Although my heart has stayed in the darkroom with black and white photography, I now have a new appreciation for the patience and work that is assembled using the various computer programs, scanning techniques, and projection ideas that make up the world of art and photography. This is a new creative beginning that doesn't have an end to it.
